Ravenhearst, the second title in Mystery Case series have introduced many features in the hidden object genre. It has shifted the gameplay from simple object searching to more complex and interesting adventure story. The game is still focused on searching for objects but there are also other interesting puzzles and intriguing story to unravel.

Return to Ravenhearst continues this trend and extends the hidden object genre borders even more. You now have an inventory to collect different items which can help you. Also you can freely move between rooms of the manor. The door lock puzzle introduced in the original title is creative and interesting. Even simple puzzle challenges like memory game are inventive and differ from its straightforward implementation.

The story is a continuation of the previous game. The Emma's ghost has told that there are still ghosts in the manor. Your goal is to find the way to release their souls. Prepare to visit more than hundred of well drawn locations in search for clues.
